MGL APPA Corporation, a wholly-owned subsidiary of MGL International Group, a worldwide front-runner in electronic measuring instruments, marked a momentous occasion with its grand opening on the 10th of August in Wugu District, New Taipei City. The inauguration ceremony witnessed the presence of MGL International Group Chairman, Mr. Ip; Executive Director, Ms. Chen, and prominent shareholders, who unitedly cut the ribbon to commemorate this significant milestone.
Originally established in 1989 and initially headquartered in Xindian District, APPA Technology Corporation specializes in crafting premium electrical power measuring instruments. In 2022, MGL International Group acquired APPA Technology Corporation and rebranded it as MGL APPA Corporation, signifying its global trajectory.
Following the integration, the company opted to centralize its production and warehousing operations within the new Wugu factory. Boasting five floors and a sprawling area of more than 8,000 square meters, the state-of-the-art facility amalgamates production lines, warehousing facilities, and logistics departments, while also meticulously crafting office spaces to foster an efficient and comfortable work environment.
Chairman Mr. Ip articulated his vision during the opening ceremony, stating, "Amid the ever-evolving global market landscape, we have invested nearly NT$80 million. Our endeavors encompass not only the establishment of the largest 250-ton two-color plastic injection molding machine and fully automated high-speed SMT process but also the infusion of years of measurement instrument manufacturing expertise into Taiwan. This has enabled us to achieve vertical integration, spanning from casing injection, circuit board surface mounting, DIP, assembly testing to packaging inspection. As one of the select few highly integrated manufacturers of handheld electronic measuring instruments in Taiwan, we plan to actively recruit top talents from the third quarter onwards, expedite capacity expansion, augment revenue performance, and advance our IPO plan by year-end."
